1. STUDY LEAVE
Based on the Decree of the Rector of UNPAR No. concerning the Rules for Students on Leave and Inactive Students in the Undergraduate Program and Diploma III Program at UNPAR, and the Foundation Management Regulation No. 20 of 2015.
1.1 STUDY LEAVE REQUIREMENTS
- Students who take study leave are students who cannot continue their studies for a certain period of time for reasons that can be justified and permitted by UNPAR
 - A student can take study leave for no more than 2 (two) consecutive semesters and a maximum of 4 (four) semesters during his/her study period.
 - Study leave can be granted to students who have followed an educational program in the related department for at least 2 (two) consecutive semesters.
 
1.2 STUDY LEAVE PROCEDURE
- Students are required to fill out the Student Study Leave Application Letter which can be obtained from the FTIS Administration, accompanied by a recommendation from the student’s guardian lecturer concerned, and return it to the FTIS Administration no later than before the end of the semester PRS period related to the leave
 - The criteria for granting permission are: (a) health problems, (b) financial problems, or (c) other personal problems.
 - Permission to take study leave is granted by the Dean of FTIS and is stated in the form of an official letter, and is notified to WR-1, WR-2, Head of the Bureau of Academic and Student Administration (BAA) and Head of the Bureau of Financial Administration (BIKEU).
 - The study leave period is not counted as the used study period in the evaluation of the study stage.
 - For students who receive leave permission from the Dean of FTIS, the student is required to pay 30% of the UKPS (the amount will change every year with the issuance of regulations regarding study costs).
 - If a student requests a leave of absence after the PRS period has ended, fees paid for the semester related to the leave are non-refundable, and any remaining outstanding financial obligations must be settled. Furthermore, permission for a leave of absence can only be granted by the Dean of FTIS if:
- Have a very strong and unavoidable reason;
 - Get permission from WR-1;
 
 - Students who have received study leave from the Dean of FTIS but violate the provisions of the leave period in the permit letter, in the following semester outside the permitted leave period, the student will be subject to study suspension regulations.
 
2. STUDY CEASE
A student who has ceased studying is a student who, in a given semester, fails to register for a study plan in accordance with applicable procedures. The study interruption period is counted as used study period in the study phase evaluation. Students who cease studying for 2 (two) consecutive semesters or 3 (three) non-consecutive semesters are not permitted to continue their studies at UNPAR.
The procedure for reactivating student status after a study break is as follows:
- The student must first submit a written application to the Dean of FTIS, accompanied by:
- Reasons for stopping studies in the previous semester;
 - Recommendation from the relevant academic advisor.
 
 - The Dean of FTIS can grant or reject the student’s request above based on academic considerations.
 - The decision of the Dean of FTIS was also notified to WR-1, WR-2, Head of BAA, and Head of BIKEU..
 - In the event that the Dean of FTIS grants the student’s request above, the student concerned:
- Subject to financial sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
 - Academic sanctions are imposed in the form of the right to take 12 credits in the semester in which the student concerned becomes active again, unless permitted by the Dean of FTIS to take a maximum of 18 credits based on valid considerations
 - You may lose your status as a UNPAR student if you do not fulfill point 4.1 above.
 
 
3.RESIGNATION
The resignation procedure is as follows:
- The student concerned wrote a letter of resignation addressed to the Dean of FTIS, signed by the student and the parents of the student concerned.
 - The student concerned fills out a resignation form which can be obtained from the FTIS Administration
 - After receiving approval from the academic advisor, head of department/study program, WD-2, WD-1, and the Dean of FTIS, the resignation request process is forwarded to the Administrative and Academic Bureau (BAA).
 - Once a student’s application is approved at the University level, the student concerned will receive:
- UNPAR Chancellor’s Decree regarding the resignation of the student concerned.
 - An academic transcript contains a list of grades for courses taken while the person concerned was an active student.
